CTCA New Website is live!!!   Kerry sent out email this morning (10-27-2022)

We have launched our new CTCA website – still the same address:

But quite a few upgrades and hopefully you will all find it easy to navigate.

First thing you should do is create your website account – you will create your own account (with your email) and your own password.
Once I see the accounts “behind the scenes” I will grant you access to the Members Only section.

I ask that you all check the Directory of Clerks under About Us to be sure information is correct.

If you already have CivicPlus as your town website and have an account, just use that to sign in for this website.

Currently the Notify Me sign up is our glitch, so more on that later…

NEW INFO: Notify Me is NOW WORKING, so after you have setup your website account, go to bottom on most pages and sign up for each “Notify Me” topics, it is a 2-step process to authenticate but then you will receive emails as items are posted to the News Flash, calendar etc.  Other topics will be added and you will be directed to signup when those become available.

 Thank you,   Kerry Miserendino, MCTC-CMC

Many thanks to the Website Committee for all their hard work.  The new website looks fantastic and should be easier to work with.   CTCA is fortunate to have the volunteers that we have.

Two quick election-related items to pass along if interested:

1) If you are on facebook, there is a national FB group for Local Election Administrators.  Consider joining to share and learn best practices, tips, etc.   Here is the link:   (3) City/County Clerks - Local Election Administrators | Facebook

2) There is a new documentary film that was recently released which shows the behind-the-scenes election preparations in the City of Cranston, RI for the Nov 2020.  It is 1 ½ hours long and features the city’s election dept staff.  Cranston has a population of 81,000 and 26 polling places.  There will be a free virtual online showing of the film on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 5pm but you need to pre-register.  You can do that at this link: Special Virtual Events — No Time to Fail (    Here is the link to watch the film trailer:   Trailer — No Time to Fail (
