Advanced Education Committee
The Advanced Education Academy (AEA) oversees the policies and administration of the AEA education content with the following educational entities: Chair of the Education Committee, Chair of the Certification Committee, IIMC CT Board Member (current or immediate past member until appointment cycles around to CT again) and a NEMCI Board Member.

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee consists of no less than three and no more than five members appointed to conduct the annual Town Clerk of the Year award.

By-Laws Committee
The By-Laws Committee meets annually to review the Constitution, By-Laws and Code of Ethics of the Connecticut Town Clerks Association.

Certification Committee
The Certification Committee adopts rules and regulations for the training and examination for the certification program of town clerks and assistant town clerks.

Conference Committee
The duty of the Conference Committee is to plan and coordinate the conferences of the Association.

Education Committee
The responsibility of the Education Committee is to plan and implement the educational programs of the Connecticut Town Clerks Association in conjunction with higher institutions of learning to improve professionalism and job-related skills.

History Committee
The CTCA History and Research Committee is responsible for compiling historic information related to the Town Clerks Association for publication and research purposes and documenting the same on the website and / or in hard copy, depending upon the circumstance.

Implementation Committee
The Implementation Committee is responsible for drafting recommended procedures as a result of newly adopted legislation creating or changing governing statutes or administrative changes to policies affecting the workflow of the Office of Town Clerk.

Legislative & Elections Committee
The duty of the Legislative and Elections Committee is to inform, as far as it is practical, on matters of interest to Town Clerks which are presented to or which are subject to consideration by the General Assembly.

Membership Committee
The duty of the Membership Committee is to provide services to the members of the Association that shall enhance and promote the office of the Connecticut Town Clerk.

Mentor Committee
The duty of the Mentor Committee is to provide services to the members of the Association that shall enhance and promote the office of the Connecticut Town Clerk.

Nominating Committee
The duty of the Nominating Committee is to place in nomination a slate of candidates for office for the ensuing two years and shall provide the members as specified in Article II Sec. 5 (of the CTCA Constitution).

Research Committee
The CTCA History and Research Committee is responsible for compiling historic information related to the Town Clerks Association for publication and research purposes and documenting the same on the website and / or in hard copy, depending upon the circumstance.

Retiree Committee
Twice a year, prior to CTCA Conferences, the Retiree Chair contacts the county VPs requesting information about retiring Town Clerks.

Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for establishing criteria and priorities for awarding the scholarship monies reserved in the annual budget.

Technology Committee
The duty of the Technology Committee is to inform the Town Clerks Association of technological changes impacting Town Clerks.

Uniform Real Property Electronic Recording Committee

Website Committee
The Website Committee develops the CTCA website to meet current needs of the Association as well as aid in the dissemination of Association, procedural and educational information on the CTCA website.
