 ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK

The Town of Columbia is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Town Clerk. This position reports directly to the Town Clerk. The hours of work will average eight per week, with four hours worked on both Wednesdays and Fridays.

ASSISTANT TOWN CLERK 

Town of Ellington. 35-hour work week. Performs responsible office administrative/clerical work in recording vital statistics, land records, election information and other records. Issues various licenses and permits. Certification as Municpal Town Clerk or ability to become certified required. Salary range $32,566 - $34,280. (2007-2008 salaries being negotiated.) CLERICAL ASSISTANT

The Town of Manchester is looking for a Clerical Assistant in the Town Clerk’s Office. The hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A ½ hour lunch hour on full days.

The Town Clerk’s Office is also looking for someone to fill in with flexible hours until August. This individual would cover when an employee is out on vacation, during dog licensing in June and on an as-needed basis.

In August, the hours would be Monday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a ½ hour lunch on full days.
